This item is cast in solid 14Kt gold (not plated) and features a classic plain bail with a rounded and slightly domed chevron shaped pinch mounting. This style of pinch bail features a peg on both sides that you pinch together to set your stone. The pegs go through the front and back of your stone and should ideally ALMOST meet in the middle of the hole. You can measure the thickness of your stone's hole from front to back, divide that distance by two, and (if you need to) cut the pegs so they're a hair shorter than that measurement.
Bail will accept chain/cording thicknesses up to 4.8mm.
The bail dimensions are 18.6mm tall and 4.3mm wide, and weighs a whopping 1.39 grams.
The bail is currently only available in 14K yellow gold.
